The latest version (V16.5) of the NCAA Next 26 Mod is now available for download! This update focuses on game and sim engine updates as well as some bug fixes and improvements.
General:
- Fixed Play by Play Announcing of Team Names in PLAY NOW mode!
- Team Schedule now shows every bowl/playoff week
- Added additional hometowns adding international cities
- Updated Coaching Database to reflect correct career stats history
- Updated AFLAC Kick-Off Game Selection & Logo
- Teams Show Bowl Rankings starting at Week 11 instead of Week 8
- Pride Stickers max out at 63 instead of 48
- Fixed shows Coach Poll Ranking after Season is over
- Updated various recruiting database position attributes and overall calculations
Game Engine:
- Adjusted Impact Players for FCS to work with Companion App tweak
- Added button to change Impact Players based on Companion App Settings
- Updated Game Engine with 4th Down Aggressiveness and On-Side Kick ability
- Updated all Playbook AI Playcalling to reduce passing ratio to reflect 2025 season
- Updated all applicable playbook rushing plays to allow for hot routes/flipping of run direction
- Adjust pistol formation situational settings to improve defensive AI against it
- Adjusted all running play hole/gaps to improve running
- Adjusted several running plays to fix occasional hand-off bugs
Sim Engine:
- Updated Simulation Engine with Modern OT Rules, Kickoff Rules, 4th Down Aggressiveness
Textures:
- Updated Kickers/Punters to remove Taped Hands for recruiting database/default roster

- Updated Gray Hair color and Balding hair options
NEXT26 Companion Tuning App v1.2 Updates:
- Adds Dynasty Impact Player setting menu options to change how impact players are assigned
- Add Recruiting Scholarship offers amount (default 30 in NEXT Mod)
- Add Sim Stats yards per play modifier ( -1 to + 2)
- Changed Kicking Meter to an actual meter/slider UI display that shows the range for ease of use
- Changed the Sim Plays Per Game to show the final result for clarification
