NCAA Next 26 Beta #5 is now Available -- now with Medical Redshirting!

This update includes an all-new Medical Redshirt system we added to the game! It also fixes the long annoying "Air Force" play by play calling for teams that did not exist previously in the game, and fixes a few textures and offensive run plays. 

We are also aware of an issue that causes games that occur in weeks 8 and later to potentially crash if the user opens the in-game depth chart and plays multiple weeks in one sitting. This version does not fully resolve the problem, but it fixes the dynasty save file from corrupting in the off-season and will repair it at the start of a new season and from it occurring immediately. The bug may still occur if the user plays multiple weeks in a row after Week 8 without reloading a save. Please read the WARNING below for more tips!



BETA 5 Updates:

  • Added Medical Redshirting into the mod!
  • Finally fixed the Play by Play team name calling of "newly created" FBS teams in this mod (e.g. Liberty, UTSA, Charlotte, etc). They will no longer be called "Air Force" but by their team name!
  • Updates to roster
  • Partially fixed a bug where in-game depth chart causes crashes during Week 8 and later. This will fix a Dynasty Save DB issue at start of following year if you are already saved in this week range, but does not fully resolve the issue. Luckily there is a work around -- SEE WARNING BELOW.
  • Fix running plays in a few offensive formations
  • Several new texture updates and folder reorganization


**WARNING**

We are aware of an issue where in-game depth chart viewing may cause the game to crash. This happens in the following scenario:

  • It may occur in weeks 8 and later in a season
  • It will happen if you try to play or sim one or two weeks without saving, exiting, and reloading the save first.
  • This leads us to believe it is a memory issue related to playoff ranking code, and we're looking into how to resolve it.
  • For now, please save/reload after Week 8 every week. 


THERE ARE NOW TWO VERSIONS OF THE MOD:

1) Default - Notre Dame is in the ACC and is compatible with Beta 3 saves

2) Notre Dame as Independent, but they have a 5-6 game ACC schedule yearly. This requires a new save!
